The First Step to Income at Home!
by Bernard Scala
You’ve probably heard so many stories about people getting rich on income at home that you feel that it can’t really be true. They’re exaggerating or lying right? Wrong.
‘Ok,’ you say, ‘Maybe it can, but I can’t do it.’ That’s nonsense. Ordinary people, like you and me, can make income at home. And it doesn’t require a huge financial outlay, or equipment any more specialized than a computer and a few extra pieces of software.
It’s easier than you think to make income at home. All you have to do is write an e-book and use Clickbank to sell it.
‘Can it really be that easy?’ you’re thinking. Well, yes and no…
Because you hear so much about income at home with ebooks, aspiring online marketers often start working on their ebooks immediately. Eventually they finish the ebook, create a sales page and start driving traffic to their site – at which point they get an unpleasant surprise.
No one wants to buy the product. And so they don’t make a dime. Worse yet, all the time and money already poured into the venture are completely wasted.
So how do you avoid this nightmare scenario? It’s simple, really. All you have to do is find out what your market wants and then give it to them. (As opposed to guessing what they want and then writing an ebook no one wants to read!)
Here’s the secret to finding out what people want: Simply find out what they’re ALREADY buying!
You see, you don’t need to reinvent the wheel. You shouldn’t guess. And you shouldn’t try to force products on people that you think they “need” (because if they don’t also want these products, you’ll go broke trying to convince people to buy them).
How do find out what this ‘need’ is? It’s easier then you think and it revolves around these three effortless steps.
Step 1:
Go to Clickbank.com and view the marketplace. Either browse the categories or use their search function to search for niche products. Those products at the top of the search results and categories are the bestsellers.
Step 2:
Another great place to check for niches is on Amazon.com. Once on Amazon search for your niche using key words. For example: you could use “making candles” or “copywriting.” Amazon lists books in order of most popular.
Step 3:
Don’t forget about Google. Just type in your key words and check out what others in your niche are selling. The organic ones are great, but don’t overlook the sponsored ones. Clearly, those people are making income at home within your niche.
Once you complete these three simple steps, you’ll know exactly what your market is already buying. And then all you have to do is make a similar – but better – product! You do that by studying the competition, finding the flaws in their products, and making sure your product doesn’t include those same flaws.
TIP:
Of course, the best way to find out about what’s wrong with a product simply by using it. However, the next best way is to check online for reviews for the product. Amazon is a great place to check for reviews. If a lot of customers complain about the same thing, then there’s an improvement you ca do. With its major flaws fixed, people will line up to buy your product.
So what do you do after you know what your customers want?
