How to make money effortlessly has always been the Holy Grail of the internet world.
There are lots of different ways to build an income, but the basic idea behind how to make money effortlessly is one word: Residual Income. Ok, that’s really two words, but you know what I mean. Residual income is the money you earn while you eat, sleep, work and vacation.
What Exactly is Residual Income?
You probably already know this key to making money effortlessly. A good example of this is insurance. When an agent first makes the sale, he or she gets most of that money right away. This enables the agent to make a fast start on earnings.
Now when it comes time for that insurance to be renewed, the agent gets a much smaller amount. But here’s the magic of residual income — that money comes in for as long as the customer renews, without the insurance agent ever having to do anything else.
That’s one customer. Now imagine if the agent had 50 customers. Maybe 500 customers. And over time 5,000 customers, with the residual income from each showing up month after month, year after year.
Now that’s making money effortlessly! Sure, you may have to do some work up front, but you’re rewarded then…and from then on. Month after month. Year after year.
The Internet, Money and You
Is it possible to make money effortlessly on the internet, or is that just another scam? After all, everywhere you look it’s one plan, one idea after another. It can make your head spin! Which one is right? More 
importantly, which one is right for you?
As with everything else in life, one size does not fit all. No one internet business (and that’s what it is, a business) can work for everyone. So, first, you must decide what’s best for you.
For example, are you a “people person” and love to talk with others? Are you shy and would prefer to work in the background, so to speak? Are you somewhere in between — you enjoy talking to people if they are interested, but reluctant to approach new people right now?
How computer savvy are you? Obviously you know how to surf the internet, because you found this page. Are you comfortable emailing? Are you an internet guru? Do you know HTML and can write pages?
There are ways to make money effortlessly for everyone, but you have to make the final decision of what you want, and what’s right for you. Not what’s right for your next door neighbor or your relative or co-worker. Just you.
For that matter, is self-employment right for you? It isn’t the best answer for everyone.
It’s a Business
OK, say you’ve found your new internet business – great! But keep one thing front and center.
It is a business, and to succeed, you have to treat it like one. In the immortal words of Yoda, “Do, or do not. There is no try.”
Yes, you will have to spend time. Yes you will have to spend money. No getting around either of these. But what you probably want, at least at first, is to spend as little of each that you can, but still become profitable. Is that a fair statement? After all, if you were even starting a lemonade stand, you’d have to spend time and money. Not to mention a brick and mortar store. The internet isn’t any different. You just don’t have a long commute.
Make Money Effortlessly
Let’s review. An internet business, to make money effortlessly (or at least easily), will ultimately need a residual income. Whether that’s return customers, repeat visitors to a website or building a networking business, you need to be able to build that residual.
You have to choose what’s right for you. Think of your personality, your skills and how comfortable you are with using a computer on the internet.
Think of how much money and time you have to spend. Remember, you will have to spend at least a little of both because this is a business. ( And a lot more lucrative than the lemonade stand used in a previous example.)
