So maybe you want to target people who are over 40 pounds overweight? What are their special needs and problems? You see where I'm going with this? And just why is that?When you have targeted traffic to your blog, several things happen. First, if you use AdSense or YPN on your blog, the advertisements become more targeted as well. The better the ads match your audience, the more likely they will click on them. Creating a blog that is targeted also means that if you're selling affiliate (or your own) goods, there is a better chance that the right people will want to buy what you have to sell. Using the dieting example again, the diet products aimed at the 20-something crowd won't likely be a winner with the over 40 crowd.
